Ross Malloy wants to be normal. But that’s really difficult when you have a type of rare eye cancer and you have to do all sorts of annoying cancer things like wear a hat and have weird eye goop. Plus, he’s going to lose his vision in one eye, and one of his friends is ignoring him. With the help of his friend, parents, and friendly medical tech/guitar teacher, can Ross figure out how to survive middle school as the “cancer-kid”?
This book is so sweet, wonderful, and amazing! The characters’ frustrations and problems seem very realistic. The author expressed the characters’ emotion really well, and it made me feel what they were feeling! It’s definitely worth reading!
