Ember's End

The Green Ember: Ember’s End | S.D. Smith

The end is nearing. Heather is dying, friends become foes and foes become friends. The vision of the Mended Wood is still alive, but the final battle is nearing. Will the rabbits be prepared, or will Morbin conquer once and for all? In the final tale in The Green Ember series Heather and Picket must search deep inside themselves for the courage to fight dragons, the Lords of Prey and save the good of rabbitkind from complete obliteration and conquest.

Ember’s End was a thoroughly satisfying end to The Green Ember series. The book was fast-paced, adventurous and exciting. It kept me on the edge of my seat all the way through. S.D. Smith captures defeat, victory, and loyalty in a way I’ve never seen before. Ember’s End was quite scary; so I would not recommend it to people who don’t like their books with a handful of fright. There is violence and deaths, but no disturbing illustrations.
