Two Times a Traitor | Karen Bass
This book is about a boy named Laz who constantly is fighting with his father. When they go to visit a realistic museum called The Citadel, Laz has a giant argument with his father. He goes off to look around on his own and falls into what turns out to be a wormhole. He is transported back into 1745 where he faces many challenges meets many people.
I love this book because the author does a really good job of portraying the feelings and thoughts of the main character, Laz. You really feel like you are in the book and having to make those decisions yourself.
