Wildwood is an exciting book filled with suspense, surprises, and magic. The story takes place in a forest in Portland, Oregon. The main character is Prue McKeel. Prue is taking care of her little brother one day, when a murder (flock) of crows swoops down and takes her brother into the Impassable Wilderness, a place where no one has gone. Prue sets off to find her brother in the forest. In the forest, she finds things beyond her wildest dreams and discovers things she never knew about herself. The plot involves violence and dark magic.
Wildwood was an exciting, suspenseful, and fast-paced read. I stayed up super late reading it because I had to know if Prue would succeed in her mission to save her little brother!
